Will Obama Take the Womens Vote

Do you think Obama has a chance of winning back the women's votes?

Would Hillary have lost the African American vote if she had been the Democrats' nominee?

Black is beautiful!

Frankly I'm a little tired of people assuming the people are stupid.

If You're African American, you vote Obama regardless of your views or his. If you're a woman you vote Hillary, and that's that.

People have thoughts and beliefs and ideas without always being forced to a choice because they happen to be this or that.

I supported Obama from the start because I think he's the best candidate this country has seen in ages.

I'm sure there are other women like me.

The interesting thing is that among the primaries votes, Hillery only had a very small advantage of women voters. If you look at the statistics as far as I've seen them, the 2 biggest social groups divisions here were: young people voted Obama and old people voted Hillary.
Also, Another interesting fact is that though Obama did have the black vote, Hillery seem to be getting the vast majority of the Hispanic vote. She's been working for that community for a massive amount of years, while there is tension between the Hispanic and the black community in many places, which I think kept the Hispanics voting for Hillery.

I think that most people know if they'll vote democrat or republican before they even know who's running for office - and that's what we are mostly going to see happening in the next election.

4 thumbs up

Honestly I'm afraid of Obama because of his ancestry (Muslim). I mean how many live in the good ole USA, collecting our money, benefits and freedom that actually hate us? I wouldn't hesitate to cast a vote if Colin Powell was running for President. I'm afraid that if Obama gets in we are doomed! Obamb will get some womens votes, BUT not mine.I don't think Hillary would of lost African Americans votes.

1229 thumbs up

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

First of all I would like to clarify that Obama is not muslim (although there is nothing wrong with that). Obama is a christian who believes in my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and GOD the father. I think that he is a smart, brillant young man that brings hope and change to our nation (GOD knows we need it).

I am African American and I would not vote for any candidate that I don't believe in. I believe in Senator Obama and what he stands for. So many women are already struggling everyday just to make ends meet. Senator Obama wants to bring relief to the middle class by cutting your taxes so that you can get by. He supports women's rights, education and health care for your kids. He supports equal pay for women. Also, you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his wife.

Yes I do believe Hillary would have lost the African American vote because just as the women claim that sexism played a part in her defeat, there is a lot of racism taking place during this election. Some die hard christians would rather die than to see a black man as president and that is so sad.

I am 57 years old and have voted ever since I was a young adult and never gave a second thought to voting for a caucasian president because I was taught to love everybody whether they be black,white,hispanic,muslim,ect... That's why I resent the fact that my color is not accepted in the same manner that I accepted our past caucasian presidents.

I don't know if any of you are christians or not, if you aren't I am not referring to you but if you are, we had better get it right before our time on earth expires. Jesus tells us to "love ye one another as I have loved you".

Women we need to come together and realize that Hillary is not the democratic nominee and support our candidate. Lets do the right thing, regardless of race (that's what this all boils down to).

I Corinthians 13:11 says " When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child but when I became a man, I put away childish things".

Be blessed.
